According to the Zhitong Finance APP, media reports indicate that CK ASSET (01113) Chairman Li Zeju's bonus for 2024 will be reduced by 10%, effectively receiving nearly 3 million Hong Kong dollars less, which is also the second consecutive year of declining bonuses.

CK ASSET's 2023 annual report shows that Li Zeju's bonus for that year was 29.17 million Hong Kong dollars. Based on this amount, a 10% reduction means Li Zeju's bonus for 2024 will be reduced to about 26.25 million Hong Kong dollars. In 2022, Li Zeju received a bonus of 32.54 million Hong Kong dollars, indicating that his 2023 bonus has decreased by 10.36% year-on-year.

CK ASSET's 2023 continuing business profit attributable to shareholders was 17.34 billion Hong Kong dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 10.2%, which is comparable to the reduction in Li Zeju's bonus. The profit attributable to shareholders for continuing operations in 2022 was 19.627 billion Hong Kong dollars, down 5.7% year-on-year.

CK ASSET's 2024 interim results show that the profit attributable to shareholders was 8.603 billion Hong Kong dollars, a year-on-year decline of 16.73%. The company's property sales revenue in the first half of the year was 4.635 billion Hong Kong dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 43.79%.
