阿波罗称更广泛的私人信贷市场规模已达20万亿美元

Apollo claims that the broader private Crediting market has reached a scale of 20 trillion dollars.

USA private equity giant Apollo Global Management announced that the broader private Crediting market has reached 20 trillion dollars and may double in the next five years.

Akila Grewal, Global Head of Apollo Crediting Products, stated in an interview: "We will achieve this goal soon. You will see more private Crediting products and strategies focused on Asset financing."

Apollo has a broad view of what private Crediting encompasses, including everything from music royalties and inventory financing to infrastructure debt and Agriculture loans. Grewal mentioned that the market size of this asset has reached 20 trillion dollars. A more traditional definition places the size of the private Crediting market at around 1.6 trillion dollars, strictly focusing on direct loans, distressed debt, and mezzanine financing.

Apollo estimates that the size of the private Crediting market could grow to 40 trillion dollars in the "next five years," said Grewal.

Apollo stated that private investment-grade Bonds offer quite attractive risk-adjusted returns but have been overlooked because they do not fully fit into existing asset allocation frameworks. It debunked the notion that private markets pose higher risks in terms of liquidity, transparency, regulation, or issuer quality compared to public investments.

Grewal stated: "Everything is relative, but private Crediting is actually quite safe."
