Guizhou Aviation has formed a strategic cooperation with 1688 to establish a procurement and sourcing platform for the aviation industry.

Sina Technology reported on December 20 that recently, Guizhou Zhonghang International Logistics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guizhou Zhonghang") signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Alibaba 1688 in Hangzhou.

According to the agreement, Guizhou Zhonghang will use the 1688 enterprise procurement self-operated mall as its main online procurement channel, focusing on sourcing professional supply in the MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) field.

Jiang Yan, the deputy general manager of Guizhou Zhonghang, expressed the hope to jointly build a centralized procurement and sourcing platform for the aviation industry with 1688, improving procurement efficiency, reducing procurement costs, while promoting transparency and compliance in the procurement process, and accelerating the construction of a transparent and efficient Internet Plus-Related procurement management system.

Feng Yuanfang, general manager of the 1688 Industrial Intelligence Division, stated that the strategic cooperation with Guizhou Zhonghang will serve as a "demonstration effect" and help attract more high-quality source supplies to settle on 1688.

It is reported that the 1688 enterprise procurement self-operated mall connects a large number of powerful source factories, with all commodities strictly controlled for quality by the platform, and all orders are eligible for invoices, with dedicated customer service support. In addition, the mall also provides personalized services such as enterprise list inquiries and customized commodities.

Feng Yuanfang revealed that 1688 is accelerating the integration of industrial products and enterprise purchasing into two businesses, changing from purely online matchmaking and digital transactions to a combination with offline services.

It is reported that 1688 is renovating industrial product warehouses and hardware markets across various regions to transform them into industrial product supermarkets covering important cities nationwide, using digital methods for online traffic generation and offline service fulfillment, with each supermarket initially covering a range of 50 to 100 kilometers.
