According to a new report from the Chamber of Progress, an industry organization representing Technology companies in the USA, the online experience for users in Europe is facing further degradation due to the EU's Digital Markets Act. This law prohibits companies like Google and Apple from facilitating their own products by linking them to so-called core platform services like Google Search.
The organization stated, "Google can no longer seamlessly integrate its suite of products (such as Google Maps, flights, and hotels) into a single search result, which will force users to browse multiple websites and applications for tasks that should be simplified again."
The report indicates that online navigation services have become "more cumbersome."
It is reported that several partners of the organization are target companies of the EU's Digital Markets Act.
