LaKeel <4074> announced that the video distribution-based educational service "LaKeel Online Media Service" has been adopted as part of employee Education initiatives at Tokyo Seiko <5981>, Japan's top Share wire rope manufacturer.

"LaKeel Online Media Service" is a corporate video distribution-based educational service designed to resolve past issues of e-learning, such as "not achieving the desired utilization rate or effectiveness." The animated content produced based on the learning theory TPACK has a high learning effect, is about 2-3 minutes long, and is designed as micro-content, allowing learning anytime and anywhere during gaps in daily operations or break times. "LaKeel Online Media Service" realizes "line learning" from "point learning" and offers the latest learning method called "Blended Learning," which provides higher effectiveness.

Tokyo Seiko had previously strengthened physical measures such as the introduction of safety devices and improvements to machinery equipment; however, labor accidents caused by a lack of safety awareness and human error continue to occur, posing a significant challenge. Particularly, labor accidents caused by "new workers," such as new hires and temporary staff, account for approximately 40% of the total, and there have also been accidents caused by unsafe behaviors of veteran employees, creating a demand for improved safety awareness throughout the workplace.

Furthermore, as the generations of personnel responsible for safety education at the workplace undergo changes, the difficulty in effective safety education and material creation has also become a challenge. In addition to traditional lectures and OJT (on-the-job training), initiatives such as VR experiential education and safety experience dojos have been conducted, but these are primarily aimed at newcomers, and education has not reached many employees, limiting its effectiveness. Given this background, the introduction of "LaKeel Online Media Service" aims to achieve effective and sustainable Education throughout the company.
