Kato Works Co., Ltd. <6390> announced on the 20th the start of sales for the 80t rough terrain crane "SL-850Rf3."
This product inherits various performance features from its predecessor, the SL-850Rf2, achieving improved safety and work efficiency while maintaining a compact structure. In addition, it is equipped with a new environmentally friendly engine that complies with the latest emission regulations, following the launch of the "SL-500Rf3" in June.
The product is currently applying for designation as a "low-noise Construction Machinery" from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, as well as certification as a "Construction Machinery meeting the 2020 fuel economy standards." Furthermore, it improves crane work fuel efficiency with the ECO switch and auto minimum control. The evolution to a compact structure has enhanced safety and work efficiency (shortening the length of the traveling body by 270mm, reducing the boom head width by 145mm, and improving jib set work efficiency). Safety features have been strengthened, improving visibility day and night with LED front accessory lights (new standard equipment), and is equipped with a hill start assist device (new standard equipment).
