On December 23, Gelonghui reported that HAITONG SEC (06837.HK) and GTJA (02611.HK) announced that on December 23, 2024: (1) GTJA and HAITONG SEC received a notification from the Shanghai Stock Exchange regarding the acceptance of GTJA's application for the stock-swap merger with HAITONG SEC and the fundraising. The Shanghai Stock Exchange verified the application documents submitted by GTJA and HAITONG SEC in accordance with relevant regulations, found the documents complete and in legal form, and decided to accept and review them according to the law.
(2) The China Securities Regulatory Commission accepted the administrative license applications related to the proposed merger and the suggested issuance, including the merger between GTJA and HAITONG SEC, the dissolution of HAITONG SEC, the change of the main shareholder and actual controller of Hai Futong Fund Management Co., Ltd., the change of the main shareholder of FUQUO Fund Management Co., Ltd., and the change of the controlling shareholder and actual controller of HAITONG Futures Co., Ltd., and issued the "Application Acceptance Notice from the China Securities Regulatory Commission."
