Suntory Holdings (Co., Ltd.) and DAIKIN INDUSTRIES (Co., Ltd.) will jointly present an entertainment program linked to the water spectacle show "Aoi to Yoru no Niji no Parade" at the 2025 Japan International Expo (Osaka-Kansai Expo).
The show "Ao to Yoru no Niji no Parade" held at night will also feature interactive entertainment that allows guests to experience its world view during the day, utilizing the "Water Plaza" and the entire Expo venue.
In time with the music composed by Youko Kanno, which is also used in the main show, the water show "Symphony of Water and Air" will have fountains dancing, as well as a participatory "Magical Dance of Water and Air" where the audience can 'control' the vast network of fountain devices. Additionally, digital content "AR Parade of Water and Air" will be provided to view creatures parading in various locations within the Expo venue using AR (augmented reality) technology.
The 'Festival of Living Creatures' nurtured and connected by water and air will be available for all visitors to see, experience, and enjoy throughout the day.
The show "Symphony of Water and Air" combines music and fountains to create a spectacle.
A daytime water show lasting about 5 minutes will be held at the Water Plaza. In a lively arrangement for piano of the music composed by Youko Kanno, the fountains will spring to life in synchrony. With approximately 300 fountains spread throughout the water, the show will express its theme of 'Water and Air.' Visitors can enjoy the harmony created by water, air, music, and fountains in the Water Plaza that opens to the sea and sky.

A magical experience where water shoots up in sync with movement, "The Magical Dance of Water and Air"
An audience participation event where water shoots up in response to people's gestures, offering a grand experience of controlling about 300 fountains. After the "SYMPHONY HOLD of Water and Air," the event staff will appear at the "Water Plaza," and selected guests by the staff will be invited to participate, moving freely to the lead. The sight of fountains rising in various patterns according to body movements creates a magical feeling as if one has become a wizard.

Digital content where you can meet living creatures "Water and Air AR Parade"
When you point your Smart Phone at the Expo venue, creatures parading in the air will appear on the screen thanks to AR technology. The creatures parade from various locations in the venue towards the "Water Plaza," inviting people to a "festival." You can also take pictures with the creatures that appear as a memory of the Expo. By scanning the QR codes installed throughout the venue with your Smart Phone or tablet, anyone can easily enjoy it without needing to download a special app.

[Overall summary of the "Aoi to Yoru no Niji no Parade"]
A spectacular show held daily in one of the largest show areas in the history of the Expo.
On the water of the "Water Plaza," a massive stage area measuring approximately 200 meters in width and 60 meters in depth, with a total area of about 8,800 square meters, will be created. At the center of the stage, a monument called "Water Cascade," which creates a water screen, will be constructed. The area will be equipped with around 300 fountains densely integrated, as well as various stage apparatuses such as lighting and lasers. These elements will resonate with music, bringing to life a spectacular show that allows the audience to experience a story.
