(President and Company Executive Officer: Koichi Saigo, hereinafter "Yakult") have jointly received the departmental award for "Logistics DX and Standardization Award" at the "2023 Green Logistics Partnership Conference Logistics Partnership Award for Excellent Operators" held on December 23 (Monday).

This award was given for the collaboration between multiple companies from different industries and departments in the supply chain management area, starting from Retail Trade including Wholesale Trade and Logistics operators, to construct a system that derives the optimal number of trucks and loading rates from AI and product demand forecasting. By utilizing this system, efficiencies in joint deliveries between non-food and food sectors and inspection processes in retail stores have been achieved, which also contributed to the reduction of CO₂ emissions through optimization of vehicle numbers.
