We would like to announce that we have introduced the disclosure and analysis support tool for non-financial and sustainability data "TERRAST for Management (hereinafter, T4M)" provided by Sustainable Lab in the field of material procurement.
The company has established "Sustainable Procurement Guidelines" aimed at achieving a sustainable society throughout the supply chain, and from fiscal 2023, we are conducting a "Survey on Efforts to Improve Sustainability" for major suppliers to monitor and support compliance with these guidelines. By introducing T4M this time, we aim to visualize the status of suppliers' efforts in the form of ESG scores, reduce the burden associated with conducting the survey, and enhance information comparison and analysis. Furthermore, our company is the first domestic company to introduce T4M for the supply chain and has been cooperating since the development stage of the tool for verifying its utility and functional modifications.
Going forward, we will engage in various activities such as individual discussions with suppliers based on the data obtained and collaboration for improvements.
The company will continue to promote further collaboration with Sustainable Lab and contribute to solving various issues faced by the Region and society through the creation of markets with new Businesses and services, thereby aiming to realize the "Kyuden Group Management Vision 2030" and "Kyuden Group Carbon Neutrality Vision 2050."
