Today's growth market showed heavy trading at the upper end. The previous day's US market was closed for the 'Christmas' holiday. Amid a lack of significant trading materials, the Tokyo market opened with small movements, starting with a rise in the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market Index. In the morning, buying expanded, reaching a high of 813 points today, but shortly after, sales became dominant, rapidly reducing the increase and falling into negative territory. However, around mid-morning, it once again floated into positive territory, and after that, a somewhat buyer-dominant situation continued, maintaining positive territory, and ended trading slightly higher.
Having passed through the last important event of this year, the Japan-US central bank meeting, it has entered the year-end mode, but the trading value of the Main Board market was around 3.8 trillion yen, showing lively trading not typical of the Christmas period, while the Emerging Markets experienced a lackluster performance. Today, three companies, GVA TECH, visumo, and Forcia, made their initial public offerings, with Forcia and visumo finishing their first day's trading at the limit up, while GVA TECH ended its first day's trading below its initial price.
