Today, the trade statistics used for the adjustment of electricity rates' fuel costs have been announced, confirming the average fuel prices from September to November 2024. As a result, the company will implement the following fuel cost adjustments for the February 2025 electricity rates.
For customers with high voltage and special high voltage supply, a fuel cost adjustment reflecting the wholesale market unit price will be implemented.
In addition, based on the support measures for electricity rates decided by the Cabinet on November 22, 2024, under the "Comprehensive Economic Measures for National Peace of Mind, Safety, and Sustainable Growth," the electricity rates for February 2025 (for usage in January 2025 (Note 1)) will be discounted by 2.50 yen/kWh for low-voltage supply customers and by 1.30 yen/kWh for high-voltage supply customers.
Furthermore, due to the company's measures to reduce electricity rate burdens, the fuel cost adjustment unit price will be discounted by 1.74 yen/kWh for high-voltage and special high-voltage supply customers for the usage period from April 2024 to March 2025 (for usage from March 2024 to February 2025 (Note 2)).
