According to Tianyancha, recently, Contemporary Amperex Technology's wholly-owned subsidiary, Ningde RunKang Technology Co., Ltd., underwent a business change, and its company name has changed to Contemporary Amperex Technology. The registered capital has increased from 10 million yuan to 3 billion yuan.
The company's business scope has also changed from the production and sales of daily Masks (non-medical) to Battery manufacturing and sales; research and development of emerging Energy Technology, New Materials Technology, wind farm related systems, etc.; and energy storage technology services.
Contemporary Amperex Technology was established on June 15, 2020, with its registered location at No. 2 Xinguang Road, Dongqiao Economic Development Zone, Ningde City, Fujian Province. The legal representative has changed from He Yusheng to Zhang Le. Zhang Le continues to serve as the company's manager, while the original executive director He Yusheng and supervisor Chen Jin have withdrawn, with Zheng Shu, Qu Tao, and Yang Zhigang entering the company.
In response to the above situation, a reporter from the Star Daily called the company's securities department as an investor, and the staff stated that they had not yet noticed the news.

On December 24, Contemporary Amperex Technology launched the Panshi integrated smart chassis. Yang Hanbing, Managing Director of Contemporary Amperex Technology (Shanghai) Intelligent Technology, stated that the CIIC chassis adopts a three-dimensional bionic turtle shell structure, deeply coupling the vehicle body and the energy cabin, absorbing 85% of collision energy, and can achieve ultra-high safety during frontal collisions at 120 km/h without catching fire or exploding.

On December 18 this year, Contemporary Amperex Technology launched two types of standardized chocolate battery swap blocks, which can provide different capacity product services based on different chemical systems. In collaboration with several automotive companies such as Chongqing Changan Automobile, FAW Hongqi, SAIC-GM-Wuling, SAIC Maxus, GAC, and BAIC, 10 new battery swap models have been launched, and a chocolate battery swap ecosystem has been initiated with nearly a hundred partners.
According to the latest developments, Contemporary Amperex Technology's chocolate battery swap stations have been established in Chongqing, with operations for 16 swap stations expected to be completed by the end of this year, and it is projected that 57 will be built in the Chongqing area by 2025. The company plans to build 1,000 chocolate battery swap stations by 2025, while also expanding into Hong Kong and Macau; in the medium term, they aim to co-build 0.01 million sites with various partners, with a final scale reaching 0.03 million.
In terms of the industry, insiders indicate that the lithium battery industry is expected to continue recovering. On December 26 this year, Xinda Securities released a research report stating that looking forward to 2025, the lithium battery sector will hit bottom, and core new technologies will enable large-scale production. Regarding production plans for January, if downstream cell factories maintain good orders, leading lithium iron phosphate enterprises are likely to continue production without taking a break during the Spring Festival to ensure output.
Recently, an insider from a lithium battery company told the Star Daily reporter that the tender information for lithium iron phosphate for next year has not yet been confirmed, and the industry is intensifying communication, with a clear overall willingness to raise processing fees for 2025.
