According to a news report from Zhitong Financial APP, CHINA CHENGTONG (00217) announced that due to personnel changes within the company’s ultimate controlling shareholder, Mr. Zhang Bin (Mr. Zhang) has resigned as executive director and chairman of the Board of Directors; and Mr. Gu Honglin (Mr. Gu) has resigned as the company's executive director and managing director, both effective from December 25, 2024.
Effective from the effective date, Mr. Li Qian (Mr. Li) has been appointed as executive director, chairman of the executive committee, chairman of the nomination committee, and member of the remuneration committee. Mr. Li has also been appointed as the chairman of the Board of Directors to replace Mr. Zhang; and Ms. Sun Jie (Ms. Sun) has been appointed as executive director, member of the executive committee and ESG committee.
