Space Shower SKIYAKI Holdings <4838> will integrate management with Space Shower Network and SKIYAKI effective April 1, 2024 (Space Shower Network will make SKIYAKI a subsidiary through a stock exchange) and will transition to a holding company structure and change its trade name. The aim is to create next-generation entertainment in collaboration with artists and creators by merging the content and Technology of both companies.
As of the end of the interim period for the fiscal year ending March 2025, total Assets are 16,480 million yen, net Assets are 8,258 million yen, Shareholder's equity is 8,134 million yen, the equity ratio is 50.0%, and the number of issued Stocks is 17,029,205 shares (including 306,994 shares of treasury stock). The headquarters is located in Shibuya, Tokyo (relocating in October 2024). The group consists of the company (holding company) and seven consolidated subsidiaries (the new Space Shower Network, which succeeded the business of the former Space Shower Network, SKIYAKI, SEPP Inc., Infiniar Inc., Connect Plus Inc., SPACE SHOWER FUGA (with a stake of 51.0%), and Rock Garage Inc. (a consolidated subsidiary of SKIYAKI engaged in travel business)). Furthermore, on April 1, 2025 (planned), reorganization will be conducted, including business succession and absorption merger between some subsidiaries for business portfolio optimization and enhancing group synergy, with SKIYAKI absorbing Connect Plus.
2. History
Founded Digital Picture Inc. in October 1994, changed its name and reorganized into a corporation in December 1996 to become Space Shower Network Inc. Then in March 1997, it received all operations including the music specialty channel "Space Shower TV" from Space Shower Inc. Subsequently, in September 2004, SEPP Video Planning Inc. (now SEPP Inc.) was established for promotion video production, in March 2011, a capital and business alliance was formed with Kddi Corporation <9433>, in June 2015, a capital and business alliance was formed with Fuji Media Holdings <4676>, in January 2016, Artist Connect Inc. (now Connect Plus) was established, and in February of the same year, shares of Infiniar Inc. were acquired to make it a consolidated subsidiary, in February 2021, a joint venture SPACE SHOWER FUGA was established, and in April 2024, it integrated with SKIYAKI and transitioned to a holding company under its current trade name.
Regarding Stocks, in April 2001, the shares were registered for over-the-counter trading by the Japan Securities Dealers Association (later listed on the JASDAQ Securities Exchange and Tokyo Stock Exchange JASDAQ due to subsequent market reorganization), and in April 2022, the company transitioned to the standard market due to the review of market classifications by the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
