Investment bank Wedbush believes that by 2025, Palantir and Salesforce are expected to be among the first software companies to monetize AI.
According to Zhituo Finance APP, investment bank Wedbush believes that by 2025, Palantir (PLTR.US) and Salesforce (CRM.US) are expected to be among the first software companies to monetize AI applications.
By 2025, enterprise spending on AI is expected to account for a larger share of IT budgets. Led by Daniel Ives, Wedbush Analysts mentioned in a report: "Palantir is a major focus during the AI revolution, with expanding use cases for its main products, forming a larger partner ecosystem as demand for enterprise-level generative AI rises rapidly across the industry."
Analysts added: "We believe that over the next decade, Palantir is poised to become the next Oracle (ORCL.US), and its AI platform Palantir AIP (Application Integration Platform) will lead the way."
However, many analysts on Wall Street remain skeptical about Palantir's prospects. Julian Lin, an analyst from the investment team Best Of Breed Growth Stocks, recently gave Palantir a "strong sell" rating. Julian Lin is concerned about Palantir's valuation. He stated: "Palantir's Stocks P/S ratio is 65 times, the highest among its growth stock peers." "Despite strong revenue growth and solid profitability, even in the most optimistic scenarios, Palantir's stock valuation is unsustainable."
Meanwhile, Wedbush also believes that Salesforce will fully leverage the advantages of AI monetization through its Agentforce product by 2025. Daniel Ives stated that Salesforce's stock price could rise by $80 in the next 12 to 18 months. He added: "To accelerate the development of next-generation AI agents based on customer data to reduce costs and enhance automation in enterprises, Agentforce 2.0 is seeking to enable AI to perform advanced operations for humans and embed higher trust layers within agents, paving the way for a new era of digital labor."
