In this project, Sakura Internet will be responsible for the design and development of the "Government Multi-Cloud Network (hereinafter referred to as "GMCN")" that interconnects multiple different cloud services within the government cloud.
In addition, for part of the work, BBIX Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "BBIX") and BBSakura Networks Inc., a joint venture between Sakura Internet and BBIX, will utilize "Open Connectivity eXchange (OCX)" and network management services from ITM Inc., which is a group company of Sakura Internet.
With the increase in the use of the government cloud, the need for interconnection between different cloud environments is expected to grow even more in the future. By utilizing the GMCN, for which our company will design and develop, government cloud-utilizing institutions such as local governments will be able to facilitate collaboration between different cloud environments and achieve more flexible system operations.
In addition, the public cloud "Sakura Cloud" provided by Sakura Internet has been certified as a government cloud for the fiscal year 2023 under certain conditions. We will also gradually respond to the connection of "Sakura Cloud" and GMCN.
Sakura Internet will provide comprehensive digital infrastructure services starting from the provision of "Sakura Cloud" to the development and maintenance of the usage environment, contributing to the realization of a safe digital society.
