On December 27, Gelonghui reported that Zhongmin Energy (600163.SH) announced that its holding subsidiary Fujian Fuzhou Mintou Offshore Wind Power Substation Co., Ltd. received the approval from the Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission regarding the "Approval of the Project for the Centralized Unified Export Engineering Project in the Offshore Area of Changle" (Fujian Development and Reform Network Review Energy Letter [2024] No. 200).
The main approved matters of this approval are announced as follows: 1. The project unit is Fujian Fuzhou Mintou Offshore Wind Power Substation Co., Ltd. 2. Project construction site: Located in Songxia Town, Changle District and its offshore waters. 3. Main construction content and scale: New output capacity of 2.1 million kilowatts, construction of one ±525 kV offshore flexible Direct Current converter station and one land control station (including energy storage, capacity of 0.21 million kilowatts/0.42 million kilowatt-hours), ±525 kV Direct Current cable, control protection, and construction auxiliary projects, etc. 4. The total investment of the project is 7.335 billion yuan, with the project capital accounting for 20% of the total investment.
The composition of the project's shareholders and their investment ratios are as follows: the project company is 51% owned by the company, 15.17% by Fujian Provincial Funei Haiyun Power Generation Co., Ltd., 12.83% by Huadian (Fuzhou) Offshore Wind Power Co., Ltd., 7% by Fujian Dongfu New Energy Co., Ltd., 7% by Fuzhou Changle Guomin New Energy Co., Ltd., and 7% by Fujian Huayi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
