According to Zhitong Finance App, TCL Electronics (01070) issued an announcement. On December 27, 2024 (after the transaction period), Huizhou TCL Mobile (as the seller) (an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) and TCL Yuxinzhixing (as the buyer) signed an equipment transfer agreement. Huizhou TCL Mobile agreed to sell and TCL Xinzhixing agreed to purchase production line equipment at a cost of RMB 18 million.
The sale is a good time for Huizhou TCL Mobile to change production line equipment that has now been in use for nearly 10 years at a reasonable price. It will bring cash inflow to Huizhou TCL Mobile and further support its business and strategic development while ensuring the normal operation of its overall production line. Considering the Group's mature production capacity layout at home and abroad, after the sale is completed, the Group and Huizhou TCL Mobile's supply chain can still fully meet business needs. Meanwhile, a total of HK$19.4922 million will be recorded as proceeds from the sale, thus bringing profit to Huizhou TCL Mobile and Group.
