Hello everyone. Looking back, one of the big news in 2024 was the reunion of the British rock band "oasis." Among fans, there were comments like, "Those brothers will just fight again and disband soon!" and ticket prices soared. Back then, I was on tiptoes listening to Western music... but now, it has resonated deeply in my heart, as I am now.
This article series, written by a female investor in her 40s who was the runner-up in the 'Stock 1GP Grand Champion Tournament' hosted by Yukan Fuji (FY 2021), is about to complete its 3rd year... and this is finally the 100th edition. Along with the column titled, I will introduce some recently notable stocks.
Now, regarding the reunion of oasis, it is rumored that the reason was the divorce of brother Noel Gallagher (mainly about money), and that brother Lear attained liberation as a good father... There are various speculations, but regardless, the competition for tickets by fans wishing to see their first live performance in about 15 years was reportedly intense. Especially with overseas volatility pricing (dynamic pricing), there were probably mixed feelings among local fans. I wanted to go to the Japan performance (October 2025), but the pre-sale in the country sold out on the same day... Of course, it's to be expected~ (tears).
That said, this column is not a reader submission section of a certain rock magazine. What I want to say is this: just like the oasis tickets, "the year-end and New Year market is dominated by domestic players and individual investors, so let's aim for stocks that are likely to gain popularity to the max!" Therefore... this time, I will share some stocks that I recently see as "rockin'on! (seems to be getting even more exciting)."
First, there's AndDo <3457>. It surged after announcing a capital and business partnership with Dai-ichi Life HD <8750> on December 18. As a result, the company will become an equity method affiliate of Dai-ichi Life, which raises expectations for synergy. The Candlestick has turned bullish quickly, so if the speculation continues, it should be interesting.
Next, Cybozu <4776>, which announced a dividend increase and a significant profit outlook for the next fiscal year on the 19th, saw a rapid rise. Attention is being paid to the high of 3270 yen from March 2023. Additionally, the subsidiary Toyokumo <4058>, which has been increasing transactions with major firms and performing well, seems to be attracting interest from individuals as well. Given its involvement in safety confirmation services, it is likely to attract attention under the theme of 'disaster prevention.'
While overlapping with the aforementioned fields… there are smaller stocks like SMN <6185>, which is performing well with advertising expansion in the AI/big data sector, and Toridori <9337>, a platform matching influencers and companies. There seems to be short-term funds flowing between them, so it is worth checking. Even in the IT sector, where various speculations tend to intersect, stocks with high growth expectations seem likely to become popular.
Lastly, as a bonus… Ai Robotics <247A>, which was introduced in October, is again in a phase of chasing new highs, so it should be checked. Furthermore, Light Up <6580>, which announced the launch of a business efficiency solution utilizing 'AI Agents' for small and medium-sized enterprises, is also under observation. There are strong expectations for the continued demand for AI consulting going forward.
Yes, I actually want to introduce more stocks, but… that's it for now.
Recently on my blog, I have picked up 'Three Focused Stocks' each month within 'Sanasae's Solo Stock 1GP', apart from the stocks mentioned above, and measure their price range every weekend. Of course, there are various topics other than stocks… please feel free to check it out even if you're curious (laugh). Well then. Have a nice trade.
