"Myojo Ippei-chan Yomise no Yakisoba" took on a new approach with "cup yakisoba with mustard mayonnaise," and began sales in 1995. Since its release, it has been well-received for its savory sauce and the rich taste created by the mustard mayonnaise, celebrating its 30th anniversary on February 20, 2025. With the DNA of challenge that is the core of "Myojo Ippei-chan Yomise no Yakisoba" and gratitude towards our loyal customers, a project will be implemented throughout the year to celebrate the anniversary with the slogan "Let's enjoy mayo!".
First, the main products "Myojo Ippei-chan Yomise no Yakisoba" and "Myojo Ippei-chan Yomise no Yakisoba Large Size" will sequentially switch to the "30th Anniversary Package" from late December 2024. The 30th anniversary icon and the copy "Mustard mayo goes well with yakisoba!" will be added to convey the value of cup yakisoba with mustard mayo again.
Next, the sub-flavor "Myojo Ippei-chan Yomise no Yakisoba Kansai-style Okonomiyaki Sauce Flavor" will be renewed and released on Monday, January 20, 2025, while "(same) Addictive Salt Sauce Flavor" and "(same) Soy Sauce Butter Mentaiko Flavor" will be renewed and released on Monday, February 3, 2025, focusing on enhancing the value of "mayo".
In terms of quality, the "Kansai-style Okonomiyaki Sauce Flavor" will enhance the texture by making the noodles even more chewy and will boost the richness of the mayonnaise to create an even more deliciously "rich and thick" okonomiyaki sauce flavor.
"Addictive Salt Sauce Flavor" will enhance the support for the "salty yet rich taste" by increasing the richness of garlic mayonnaise.
The "Soy Sauce Butter Mentaiko Flavor" is also receiving support, and to enhance the "deliciousness derived from umami and spiciness that keeps you coming back for more," the spiciness of "Mentaiko Mayo" has been increased and renamed to "Spicy Mentaiko Mayo."
