Fisco Japan ·  Dec 30, 2024 11:38

The number of gains and falls of the Nikkei Average constituent stocks as of closing 30 days ago was 88 stocks with price increases and 135 stocks with price drops unchanged.

The Nikkei Average fell. The front market transaction was closed at 39979.68 yen (estimated turnover 0.7 billion 58.3 million shares), which depreciated by 301.48 yen. The Dow average in the US market last weekend fell 333.59 dollars to 42992.21 dollars, and the NASDAQ closed at 19722.03 points, which fell 298.33 points. Ahead of the year-end and New Year holidays, while participants were limited, China's indicators were poor, and it also seemed that political unease in Germany, South Korea, etc. had an impact on some investor sentiment, and it declined. In preparation for the rebalance in the new fiscal year, high technology in particular was sold, and the overall market price was further depressed, and it remained soft throughout the day. Towards the end of the game, the decline was reduced. The Nikkei Average on December 30 started with an increase of 40325.78 yen, which was 44.62 yen higher than the previous weekend, and continued to grow for 4 business days, against the side of the US stock market, where all major stock price indices fell sideways. Although buying took a slight lead, it seems that profit determination sales are coming out in the form of a reaction of a drastic rise in the previous weekend as expected, and it turned into a negative zone at an early stage. After that, the decline widened, and the transition occurred between the 40000 yen milestone.

The top contributor to price drops was Advante <6857>, and the same 2nd place was Fast Rite <9983>, which pushed down the Nikkei Average by about 159 yen with 2 stocks. Also, the top decline rate of the Nikkei average constituent stocks was Nissan's own <7201>, which was 5.64% lower, and the same 2nd place was the Nippon Steel Works (5631), which was 5.36% lower.

Meanwhile, the top contributor to price increases was FANUC (6954), and Yaskawa Electric (6506) was in second place, boosting the Nikkei Average by about 7 yen with 2 brands. Also, the top rate of increase for the Nikkei Average constituent stocks was Kawasaki Kisen <9107>, which was 2.45% higher, and DeNA <2432> was 1.96% higher in the same 2nd place.
