According to Zhitong Finance APP, Citibank released a research report stating that in December, 122 domestic game licenses and 13 imported game licenses were approved in mainland China, with a total of 1,417 game licenses approved for the whole year, a year-on-year increase of 32%. Among them, 1,306 domestic game licenses and 111 imported game licenses were approved, slightly above the bank's expectation of 1,200 to 1,400 licenses.
The report mentioned that among the approved licenses are TENCENT's "Monster Hunter: Traveler" and "Red Alert: Glory", as well as NTES-S's "Top Sniper" and "Infinity Arch." As for companies listed on the A-shares, 37 Interactive Entertainment Network Technology Group obtained 2 licenses and Kingnet Network received 4 licenses.
