According to the media, even before Musk spent over 0.2 billion dollars to help Trump get elected, Starlink had already launched its Business plans across various countries globally. Now, people are not worried about Musk undermining state-owned telecommunications channels, but rather concerned about government officials trying to extract economic benefits from Musk's industrial complex.

As a major contributor to Trump's victory for a second presidential term, Musk's influence on the future Trump administration is increasingly significant. Musk's Space Exploration Technologies Corp (SpaceX) also benefits, as the Global resistance to SpaceX's "Starlink" Business is diminishing.

On East Coast time December 30, Monday, Bloomberg reported that Musk's South African "fellow countryman" — South African President Ramaphosa hopes to attract investments from Musk's numerous companies in South Africa, while Musk hopes the South African government will lower the requirements for Black ownership of Starlink's operations there.

Reports citing informed sources stated that Ramaphosa and Musk have been in contact discussing how the South African government can change regulations to allow Starlink's high-speed Internet to operate legally in South Africa. In return, Musk's companies will invest in some sectors in South Africa, such as Tesla investing in Battery production. Now, Musk is playing a more important role next to Trump, and the aforementioned collaboration efforts between Musk and South Africa are accelerating towards reaching an agreement.

Reports suggest that the ongoing tug-of-war between Musk and South Africa is just an example of the crumbling Global barriers against Starlink's operations. Long before Musk spent over $0.2 billion to help Trump reclaim the presidency of the USA, Starlink had already begun its offensive to establish operations in various countries around the world. Now, people are no longer worried that Musk will disrupt the sensitive state-owned telecommunications channels globally, but rather about government officials attempting to gain economic benefits from Musk's industrial complex.

Last month, SpaceX conducted the sixth test flight of the Starship rocket, with Trump attending in person and watching the test launch alongside Musk, further highlighting their close relationship. Musk has previously referred to himself as future President Trump's "first brother." A report from CCTV at the time cited foreign media commentary stating that "inseparable" seems unable to fully encompass and describe the relationship between Musk and Trump, as they appear to be engaged in a mutually beneficial business arrangement: Trump secures funding and successfully gets elected, while Musk gains influence over the federal government.

Reports indicate that after Trump's election victory, he nominated Musk to lead the proposed "Department of Government Efficiency." After the establishment of the "Department of Government Efficiency," Musk's real expectation is that the federal government will not interfere with his ventures. He hopes the government will approve Tesla's autonomous taxi services; legalize the brain-machine implants from his Neuralink company; have NASA launch a new Mars program, using his SpaceX to launch rockets; and have the regulatory Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approve complete coverage of Starlink throughout urban and rural USA.

Reports cite commentary stating that Elon Musk serves as the CEO of multiple companies, and it is extremely rare for someone in such a role to play a significant part in an incoming government and exert influence on regulatory Institutions. Ideally, he should steer clear of related affairs or refrain from involvement; however, this is the "Trump 2.0" era, where past rules regarding conflicts of interest have been discarded.
