On January 3, 2025, RoboSense Suoteng Juchuang (02498) held the "Hello Robot" 2025 AI Robot Global Online Launch Conference today.
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, on January 3, 2025, RoboSense (02498) held the "Hello Robot" 2025 AI Robot Global Online Launch Conference today, showcasing for the first time RoboSense's company strategy related to its robot technology platform, and announced a series of technological achievements that will be displayed at the CES Global Consumer Electronics Show starting on January 7.
At the launch conference, RoboSense CEO Qiu Chunchao stated that the company positions itself as a supplier of incremental components and solutions for intelligent robots, focusing on the development of general mobile and operational solutions for complete machines, and has introduced incremental components for intelligent robots suitable for various scenarios, reducing barriers and shortening cycles for the robot industry, empowering the commercialization of the robot industry, and driving the industry to evolve towards embodied intelligent robots with general AI.
RoboSense believes that advanced intelligent driving is essentially a mobile robot with a car as the carrier, and by leading Lidar to fully enter the digital age, RoboSense will continue to promote the popularization of intelligent driving and safeguard intelligent driving safety. The series of technological achievements and solutions developed based on the smart automobile as the most stringent mobile robot platform can support various types of intelligent robots in understanding environmental information and realizing autonomous movement functionality from point A to point B.
While providing mobile solutions to the robot industry, RoboSense relies on its leading advantages in perception solutions to offer operation solutions that possess "hand-eye coordination" capabilities for the robot industry. At the launch conference, RoboSense introduced the second generation of dexterous hands with 20 degrees of freedom, which can combine the perceptual information from various Sensors with hand movements for closed-loop control, greatly enhancing the versatility and task complexity of the second generation of dexterous hands.
RoboSense focuses on supporting the Smart Automobile Industry by flexibly combining mobility and operational capabilities to develop intelligent robot products for various scenarios and tasks, empowering companies in different fields and accelerating the commercialization and large-scale application of frontier technologies such as embodied intelligence.
At the press conference, RoboSense stated that it insists on starting from the complete machine, deeply understanding and developing products based on industry needs. To this end, RoboSense has created a humanoid robot as a universal component development platform for robots, and has accumulated three types of incremental components suitable for RoboSense's development from the complete machine development process: robot vision, touch, and joints.
In terms of robot vision, RoboSense launched a completely new category: Active Camera solution. Active Camera is an intelligent ecosystem comprising Sensor Hardware, computing core, and AI algorithms, aiming to become the universal intelligent eye for robots. The Active Camera integrates lidar digital signals with camera information at the hardware level, allowing for proactive environment perception to overcome challenges such as changes in brightness and visual illusions; in deployment and application, robot developers can directly utilize the Active Camera through an SDK for mapping, positioning, and obstacle avoidance, thus saving time spent on sensor driver development, data calibration, data fusion, and avoiding inefficiencies caused by redundant sensors. As a new category, Active Camera's lineup will constantly expand, significantly reducing the development difficulty for specialized robots in various niche scenarios.
RoboSense also launched the FS-3D force sensor suitable for footed robots, a high power density linear Electric Machine LA-8000 applicable to robot hip and knee joints, and the DC-G1 robot domain controller supporting all kinds of real-time perception models, multi-modal large models, embodied intelligence operation models, and motion control algorithms at the press conference.
RoboSense stated that over the past ten years, the company has accumulated a significant amount of technical reserves not only in robot sensors, controllers, and actuators but has also constantly increased its R&D investment in AI, constructing supercomputing centers, AI models, scenario data, and other AI infrastructure while developing a large-scale data closed-loop toolchain. Driven by AI, RoboSense can not only ensure efficient iteration of existing product development but also provide high-quality technical support for the development of various robot solutions.
At this press conference, RoboSense has also launched three brand new digital Lidar products, applicable in vehicle and Siasun Robot&Automation scenarios. All new products will be showcased at the CES Global Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 7 to 10, at booth LVCC West Hall 6700.
