According to the Zhito Finance APP, investment bank Benchmark has raised the target price for Netflix (NFLX.US) from $555 to $720 and maintains a "Sell" rating for the stock.

The bank informed investors that Netflix's performance is "significantly better than other media companies with major global scale advantages," although it believes the stock is overpriced in the currently strong market. Benchmark added that as the advantages of paid sharing diminish, revenue and profit growth will increasingly rely on new initiatives such as pricing and ad support.

Since its premiere on December 26, the second season of Netflix's "Annual King Bomb Korean Drama" "Squid Game" has attracted over 68 million views globally according to official statistics, topping the company's streaming series rankings worldwide.

Regarding the show's contribution to Netflix's performance, most Wall Street investment institutions hold an optimistic stance, which is why recently Morgan Stanley and KeyBanc have significantly raised Netflix's target stock price for the next 12 months and reiterated a "Buy" rating; Morgan Stanley's target price is as high as $1,050, while KeyBanc is bullish up to $1,000.
