DAIKIN INDUSTRIES, LTD. Unsponsored ADR is conducting a demonstration experiment aimed at developing a new air conditioning system for creating spaces where people can live comfortably and healthily, starting from fall 2025 at 'Toyota Woven City', which is being constructed by Toyota Motor in Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
In recent years, there has been a growing interest in the health of both mind and body, which contributes to a fulfilling life. Among these concerns, pollen allergies, fatigue due to stress, and decreased sleep quality affect many people, posing social issues that hinder a healthy lifestyle and result in economic losses through reduced labor efficiency and increased medical expenses.
'Toyota Woven City' is a city designed for demonstration experiments, where people actually live and work. It can be described as an environment shaped like a testing course to create inventions and accelerate development, allowing for a verification of how the introduced devices and spaces are utilized in daily life. Through demonstration experiments utilizing various data continuously obtained from 'Toyota Woven City' and feedback from residents, the company will challenge the realization of 'pollen-free spaces' and 'personalized functional spaces' and aim for further creation of air value.

The company will conduct demonstration experiments aimed at realizing the following systems at 'Toyota Woven City.'
- Air conditioning and ventilation systems that create pollen-free spaces.
- A linked system of air conditioning, images, and sound that creates new value in spatial experiences through multi-sensory collaboration.
