The exchange of documents was witnessed by both Prime Minister (PM) Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Singapore PM Lawrence Wong during Wong's two-day official visit to Malaysia in conjunction with the 11th Malaysia-Singapore Leaders' Retreat.
Both leaders also witnessed the signing of six MOUs and a letter of intent on education, women and social welfare, climate change, carbon capture and storage, urban development and combatting transnational crimes.
Meanwhile, during a joint press conference, Anwar said both countries are reopening discussions on the water supply issue and a technical team will discuss the parameters.
Wong, meanwhile, said Malaysia and Singapore agreed on a shared vision of growing connection and connectivity between the two countries.
He added that the JS-SEZ could attract more investments, jobs and opportunities to people of Malaysia and Singapore.
