According to the Zhito Finance APP, Zijin Mining Group (601899.SH) announced that at 9:00 a.m. Beijing time on January 7, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake occurred in Dingri County, Shigatse City, Tibet, causing significant casualties and a large number of buildings to collapse. The disaster area is located in a high-altitude cold region and is currently in winter, with the affected population urgently needing assistance.

To assist the disaster-stricken area and actively fulfill social responsibilities, the Board of Directors approved a total cash donation of 30 million yuan from the company and its subsidiaries in the Tibet sector to the earthquake disaster area, for emergency relief, livelihood assistance for the affected people, support for rescue teams, and related post-disaster reconstruction work. Among them, the company's headquarters will donate 10 million yuan, Tibet Julong Copper Co., Ltd. (Julong Copper Mine) will donate 10 million yuan, Tibet Xianglong Mining Co., Ltd. (Juno Copper Mine) will donate 5 million yuan, and Tibet Alila Guo Resources Co., Ltd. (Lagocuo Salt Lake Lithium Mine) will donate 5 million yuan.

In addition, Julong Copper Mine and Juno Copper Mine immediately organized earthquake relief rescue teams after the earthquake, equipped with rescue command vehicles, ambulances, fire trucks, emergency vehicles, and rescue equipment to head to the disaster site, with the first batch of rescue personnel arriving on the evening of January 7. At the same time, the subsidiaries in the Tibet sector also urgently purchased much-needed relief supplies for the disaster area, with the first batch of supplies including 1,300 coats, 1,000 blankets, 500 mattresses, 400 tents, as well as warm and essential items like blankets, cotton shoes, bread, and drinking water arriving in the early morning of January 8.
