According to the plan, the panoramic iDrive will first be applied in the new generation BMW models by the end of 2025.
According to Gao Xiang, President and CEO of BMW Group Greater China, the panoramic iDrive, equipped with the new generation BMW Operating System X, is an intelligent digital system designed for new generation models, oriented towards the future. 'The intelligent personal assistant of BMW's new generation, powered by an AI large language model co-developed with leading partners in China, will have more powerful interactive capabilities.'
ZEEKR also recognizes the 'intelligent cockpit' as one of the key aspects of its exhibition, announcing a partnership with Qualcomm for the joint development of future-oriented intelligent cockpits. ZEEKR's models are currently equipped with the Kr AI large model system driven by the Qualcomm 8295 intelligent cockpit computing platform, supporting OTA iterative upgrades. The debut of ZEEKR Navigation overseas navigation 2.0 will provide users with new generation navigation services through a collaboration with the overseas mapping service company Mapbox.
According to incomplete statistics from Financial Association reporters, among the auto companies exhibiting at this CES, more than half debuted or showcased their AI intelligent cockpit-related technologies. Besides BMW and ZEEKR, Great Wall Motor brought its new generation intelligent space system Coffee OS 3 and intelligent driving system - Coffee Pilot Ultra, while Hyundai unveiled a holographic wide windshield display.
