Regarding some Autos of the shovel loader (Product name: Job Fighter) sold by our company, a recall was reported to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism from Hitachi Construction Machinery Tierra Co., Ltd. on January 9, 2025.
The overview of the recall and the Range as defined by Toyota L&F are as follows.

1. Condition of the defect
Regarding the internal spool of the hydraulic flow distribution valve (diverter valve) attached to the steering circuit of the shovel loader, there have been instances where an incorrect spool was assembled due to inappropriate work procedures. As a result, when surge pressure occurs inside the diverter valve during movement, the partition inside the valve housing may be damaged, leading to a sudden decrease in the amount of hydraulic oil flowing to the steering circuit. In the worst-case scenario, the steering might become excessively heavy, making it difficult to perform normal steering operations.
2. Content of the improvement measures
All vehicles will have their diverter valves inspected, and if any incorrect parts are found, they will be replaced with good ones.
