SUBARU's motorsports company, Subaru Technica International*1, has unveiled the STI complete car "S210" prototype for the first time today, January 10, 2025.

The STI complete car "S210" incorporates technology and knowledge gained from the Nürburgring 24-hour race*2 that STI participates in, achieving maneuverability that allows drivers to control the vehicle more easily, as a direct model of the "SUBARU WRX NBR CHALLENGE."
The engine is based on the FA24 direct-injection turbo engine from "WRX S4," featuring new developments in the intake system including the air cleaner, intake duct, and turbo front duct. Additionally, the exhaust system utilizes a low-backpressure performance muffler with a newly developed large-diameter tailpipe and an exhaust pipe rear equipped with a cannon-type chamber, reducing intake and exhaust resistance. Furthermore, by specially tuning the ECU, it achieves a maximum output of 300 PS (development target value). The linear torque response to accelerator operation allows for a reliable and enjoyable accelerator operation characteristic in any situation.
For the transmission, the Subaru performance transmission, the first of its kind in the "S series," is adopted. By tuning the shifting characteristics to match the engine output characteristics, it achieves rapid shifting response and high maneuverability in driving force characteristics, more accurately relaying the driver's intentions and providing enjoyment in driving.
The suspension features Michelin 255/35R19 high-performance tires and STI flexible performance wheels, which have different shapes front and rear for optimizing the tire contact area and enhancing vehicle response during steering. Additionally, electronically controlled dampers and coil springs with dedicated tuning, along with newly developed rear stabilizer bushes are adopted. The brake system is equipped with Brembo 18-inch front ventilated disc brakes along with a specially tuned electric booster to realize a braking system that excels in control.
The exterior features newly developed sport side garnishes that improve airflow, as well as aerodynamic parts like the STI dry carbon rear spoiler, achieving high-speed stability and handling performance.
The interior incorporates newly developed RECARO carbon backrest front seats, offering high support and comfortable seating. The interior is themed in black, creating a space focused on driving, while red-colored pre-tensioner & force limiter equipped front 3-point ELR seat belts and stitched details on various interior parts enhance the anticipation for driving and the joy of ownership.
The STI complete car "S210" is planned for a limited sale of 500 units. Details regarding the sales method will be announced around spring 2025.
