Foxconn has begun talks with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to work with Fisker Inc. To build electric cars on the state's almost vacant Foxconn park, The Verge reported, citing a notice.
"as part of the site selection process, Foxconn and Fisker have discussed electric vehicle manufacturing plans with the Wisconsin Economic Development Company," Foxconn said in a statement.
A spokesman for the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation told the The Verge that it would not comment on any possible discussions before implementing the contract.
