According to people familiar with the matter, TeslaWorkers at its battery factory in Nevada have been informed that from Monday, they must wear masks indoors, whether or not they have been vaccinated against novel coronavirus.
With the resurgence of the epidemic in the United States, Tesla is the latest company to force employees to wear masks.
At the Nevada factory, Tesla had previously only required unvaccinated employees to wear masks, and those who had been vaccinated did not have to wear masks, according to people familiar with the matter. Now, the company has adjusted this policy because of the spread of the highly contagious Delta variant and the latest guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
