A pair of underage siblings in the United States have built an ethernet mine in their garage, starting with a game computer and gradually using the money to buy new mining equipment, which now earns $35000 a month.
Ishian Thakur, 14, and sister Anya, 9, live in Frisco, Texas. It all started when their father told them a story about the rise of Bitcoin before going to bed, which made them dream of having their own mining business.
At first they wanted to try the most valuable cryptocurrency on the market, Bitcoin, and although they had no money to invest in it, they decided to buy the necessary equipment to mine the cryptocurrency.
In this way, in March this year, the brother and sister started digging with an old game computer and made $1000 in their first month.
They are eager to expand their cryptocurrency mining. However, there is a problem: a shortage of graphics cards for this activity. But they found a solution: they signed up to receive the latest supply information from different electronic stores, and when they received that information, they quickly went to buy the necessary equipment.
The siblings said they had taught themselves to mine cryptocurrencies through YouTube videos and that their father had helped them buy the necessary equipment through loans.
As the business grew, the two moved most of the mining machines to an air-conditioned data center in downtown Dallas. However, there are still 30 graphics cards left in the garage.
Now, the brother and sister are using their money to continue to expand their mines, buy electricity from renewable energy sources, and save money for college in the future.
