Last month, I complained to the US Labor Relations Board about Apple Inc.Ashley Gjovik, a female employee, said on Thursday that she had been fired by the company on suspicion of leaking information.
Qiao Weike said Apple Inc informed her that she had been fired because she violated policies, including leaking information about confidential products.
Qiao Weike, a former senior engineering project manager at Apple Inc, complained to the US Labor Relations Board (NLRB) on Aug. 26 that she had been harassed by a manager, was retaliated after asking questions and was forced to take paid leave.
Ms. Qiao said in an interview earlier this month that she wanted to raise concerns about Apple Inc's safety and public policy. She also filed complaints with the United States Administration of Occupational Safety and Health, the Office of the California Labor Commissioner and the Equal Employment opportunities Commission.
Apple Inc said on Thursday that out of respect for the privacy of relevant personnel, no personal issues of employees would be discussed.
