In order to gain more business in advising financial institutions on mergers and acquisitions, Jeffery Financial Group has hired more than a dozen bankers.
In recent months, the group's team of financial institutions has hired six managing directors, including Bank of America's Jackie Cleary, according to memos obtained.
They will be headed by Alejandro Przygoda, who recently joined Jeffery from Credit Suisse and will be based in New York to lead the team.
Many of the new employees are from Credit Suisse, which has also suffered a brain drain after two scandals that damaged its image and profits.
