It sells for 86800-194800 yen in the Japanese market. Compared with the iPhone 12 series, the cheapest model is about 4000 yen higher and the most expensive model is about 29000 yen higher.

Since the launch of iPhone 4S in 2011, the price of new products launched by Apple Inc has continued to rise every year. The price of the 16GB 4S is more than 40, 000 yen, and the 64GB model is more than 70, 000 yen. The prices of the XS and XR series launched in 2018 doubled to 90-170000 yen as a result of the increase in Japan's consumption tax.

According to the basic salary structure survey released annually by the Ministry of Health and Labour, the monthly salary of Japanese full-time workers, including overtime pay, was 336000 yen in 2020, an increase of only 2 per cent over 2010.
