美国加密货币数据平台出错 比特币一度“被”暴跌90%

Us cryptocurrency data platform error Bitcoin once plummeted 90%

A cryptocurrency data network operated by some big Wall Street companies broke down on Monday, which at one point showed that Bitcoin plummeted by about 90%, a failure that did not occur on other platforms.

The platform, called Pyth, is hailed by its supporters as an industrial source of asset pricing information such as stocks and cryptocurrencies. Its data contributors include financial giants such as Jump Trading Group, DRW and FTX.

But the platform malfunctioned on Monday, showing at one point that the price of Bitcoin was $5402. The platform then tweeted: "Engineers are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident and a complete report is being prepared." But so far the platform has not posted any further tweets on the matter, and its data has returned to normal.

This is a compelling mistake for a system that gets information from some of the most sophisticated traders. It is not clear how much impact Bitcoin has been affected by the collapse on Pyth.

This is the second time that Pyth has had a problem recently. Last week, the Solana block chain connected by Pyth stopped working for more than 17 hours, causing the Pyth system to crash.
