Zhou Zhuohua, chairman of Sun City Group, was arrested by Wenzhou people's Procuratorate on suspicion of opening a casino in the mainland, causing a social sensation, according to media reports. Feng Jiachao, director of the Gaming Research Institute of the University of Macau, said that this is the first time that a well-known gambling intermediary has been suspected of violating the law since the amendment to the mainland's criminal law came into effect in March this year.
