The report shows that in December 2021, the online average price of new housing in 65 key cities was 17,608 yuan / square meter, up 0.53 percent from the previous month; the average online listing price of second-hand housing was 16829 yuan per square meter, down 0.06 percent from the previous month; in seven cities that implemented the reference price system for second-hand housing, the average listing price decreased month-on-month, and the number of new second-hand housing listings nationwide increased 1.9 percent from the previous month.

In December 2021, the popularity of housing search across the country fell 3.6 percent from the previous month, 2.3 percent in first-tier cities, 2.6 percent in second-tier cities, and 4.6 percent in third-and fourth-tier cities. The ranking of active cities in housing search is Yinchuan, Baoding, Hangzhou, Xuzhou, Linyi and Zhengzhou. In terms of market supply, 58 statistics from Anjuke Real Estate Research Institute show that in December 2021, the number of newly listed houses increased by 1.9% month-on-month. Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Qingdao, Hefei and Taiyuan showed a month-on-month increase of more than 10%. In December 2021, the user confidence index of home buyers was 106.3, up 7.2% from the previous month; the confidence index of brokers was 93.9, up 12.3% from the previous month, and the confidence index of home buyers and brokers rebounded.
