Unsettled Markets Scuttle Tru Shrimp IPO -- Market Talk

Dow Jones Newswires ·  Feb 9, 2022 23:10

1002 ET - Amid gyrating equity markets and a chilly environment for new issues, seafood and biopolymer production company Tru Shrimp says it's postponing its planned initial public offering. The Balaton, Minn., company cites "adverse market conditions," adding it will continue to evaluate the timing for the proposed offering. Several firms, including business software company Justworks, benefits-management-software provider Trajector and a raft of blank-check companies, have already shelved IPO plans this year. The Renaissance IPO ETF is down more than 25% over the last three months. (colin.kellaher@wsj.com)
