Hong Kong shares fall 0.6% amid uncertainty over Russia-Ukraine crisis

Hong Kong shares fell amid an uncertain outlook for the Russia-Ukraine crisis. The $Hang Seng Index(800000.HK)$ closed 0.6% lower at 22767.18. But the $Hang Seng TECH Index ETF(03032.HK)$ rose 0.8% to 5112.62, led by technology stocks that rebounded in the U.S. ADR market overnight. 

It's impossible to tell what direction the market will take in the next five minutes, Swissquote said, adding that the only certainty is uncertainty, and this is how it will be for the next couple of sessions. Among the HSI's worst performers, $PETROCHINA(00857.HK)$ 3.8% and $CHINA RES LAND(01109.HK)$ dropped 3.3%. Meanwhile, $ALI HEALTH(00241.HK)$ climbed 4.9% and $TECHTRONIC IND(00669.HK)$ added 4.2%.
