Singapore: Marine fuel sales continue downward trend, falls 10.2% on year in March

Marine fuels sales at Singapore port fell 10.2% on year during March 2022, according to Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) data.

In total, 3.77 million metric tonnes (mt) (exact 3,770,100 mt) of various bunker grades were sold at the world's largest bunkering port in March, lower than 4.20 million mt (4,199,300 mt) recorded during March 2021.

Deliveries of 500 centistokes (cSt), 380 cSt and 180 cSt grades in March (against on year) were respectively 124,900 mt (+690.5% from 15,800 mt), 962,600 mt (-1.4% from 975,900 mt), and zero (versus zero).

Low sulphur variants of 500 cSt, 380 cSt and 180 cSt products in March (against on year) recorded respectively no sales, 1.74 million mt (-18.3% from 2.13 million), 100,600 mt (-50.3% from 202,600 mt).

Low sulphur 100 cSt recorded sales of 555,100 mt (-11.2% from 499,300 mt) and ULSFO had no sales in March.

Low Sulphur marine gas oil (LS MGO) sales were posted at 271,800 mt (-14.8% from 318,900 mt) and MGO at 9,700 mt (-68.4% from 30,700 mt).
