The chief of the Securities and Exchange Board of India has hit back at allegations of having conflicts of interest with the Adani Group. Hindenburg Research made the accusations in a report published over the weekend. The US short seller said previous investments by Madhabi Puri Buch and her husband prevented a thorough examination of manipulation and fraud claims.
