How to Trade Crypto on moomoo

Step 1: Open a Crypto Account

Before you start, please remember to update the app to the latest VERSION.

How to activate after updating:

Go to the cryptocurrency page, scroll down to the "Tradable Currency Pair". Tap on "Trade", select "Crypto", and then tap on "Next". Finally, tap on "Start Now" to submit your application. The process will take 3-5 minutes to complete.

P.S.: Currently, Moomoo SG restricts crypto activation to selected users who are under 70 years old and have a valid Singapore address or nationality.

Step 2: Transfer Funds

Go to "Accounts" > Select your crypto account > "Transfers" > Select your preferred currency > Enter Amount.

Step 3: Start Trading

After completing the above steps, return to the detailed quotes page and click on "Trade" again.
Alternatively, you may go to your crypto account> Click on "Trade"> Enter the cryptocurrency symbol to start trading.

What cryptocurrency pair can I trade?

Currently, the following pairs are supported:

SGD Trading Pair:

BTC/SGD, ETH/SGD, BCH/SGD, XRP/SGD, DOT/SGD, and ADA/SGD

USD Trading Pair:

BTC/USD, ETH/USD, BCH/USD, XRP/USD, DOT/USD, and ADA/USD

Trading Hours：

Cryptocurrency trading is available 7 days a week, 23 hours a day in SGT.

Session	Time	Trading Rules
Auction	8:00AM - 08:15AM SGT	Orders can be placed and cancelled. Orders will not be filled.
Trading Session	08:15AM - next day 07:00AM SGT	Orders can be placed and cancelled. Orders will be filled.
Market Close	07:00AM - 08:00AM SGT	No order can be placed and cancelled.

2. The cryptocurrency you buy can be sold on the same day, i.e., T+0, and there is no limitation on how frequent you can engage in intraday trading.

3. Generally, cash gained from selling crypto between 12AM - 7AM (SGT) may be withdrawn after 11AM (SGT) on the same day. Cash gained from selling between 8AM - 11:59PM (SGT) may be withdrawn after 11AM (SGT) on the next day.
