Eligibility

  • This event is only available to the existing clients of Moomoo Financial Singapore Pte. Ltd.

(Existing users who have previously made deposit of fresh fund of any amount into their Moomoo SG Universal account before 10:00PM SGT on 23/7/2024)

  • Each existing client is entitled to participate in this event once.

  • Moomoo Financial Singapore Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria (eligible clients) for the event.

  • Existing users who have previously participated in the past existing user promotions are still eligible to participate in this promotion.

 

How to Participate

1. Upon entering the event page, existing users must click on "Register Now" and select a membership tier to sign up. After registering, users are required to complete the fresh fund deposit within 5 days. Note: Once you have selected a membership tier, you are unable to change to another membership tier or revert to the home page and restart.

2.Please ensure the 5-day deposit period has end before completing the 2 tasks. Otherwise, the tasks will not be marked in progress.

3. Please note that at the end of the 5-day deposit period, the total net deposit must meet the minimum requirement based on the membership tier selected or more to enter the next phase, which is the 60-day net deposit maintenance period. Otherwise, the task will be considered as failed, and you will not qualify for the rewards.

4. After the 5-day deposit period ends, users are required to maintain a minimum daily net deposit for the next 60 days. Based on the net deposit maintained over the 60 days, users will receive the corresponding rewards. If during the 60-day holding period, the minimum net deposit is not met daily, the task will be considered as failed, and you do not qualify for the rewards.

 

How do I get the Rewards

1. How to unlock rewards: Existing user are required to complete the deposit base task, task 1 and/or task 2 before the corresponding rewards can be unlocked at the end of the 60-day holding period.

*How is fresh funds calculated?

Scenario 1 (Did not fulfill fresh funds requirement)

Day 1 (5/8/2024) - Your current total asset is S$18,000.

Day 5 (9/8/2024) - You withdraw S$13,000 before clicking on the "Register Now" button on the event page.

Day 8 (12/8/2024) - You click on the "Register Now" button to participate in the event and deposit S$10,000. The S$10,000 deposit will not be considered as fresh fund as the calculation is based on Total Deposit - Total Withdrawal (S$10,000 - S$13,000 = -S$3,000) since the event has already begun on the 5/8/2024 at 10:00PM SGT.

 

Scenario 2 (Fulfilled fresh funds requirement)

Day 1 (5/8/2024) - Your current total asset is S$18,000.

Day 5 (9/8/2024) - You withdraw S$5,000 before clicking on the "Register Now" button on the event page.

Day 8 (12/8/2024) - You click on the "Register Now" button to participate in the event and deposit S$15,000. S$10,000 from the S$15,000 deposit will be considered as fresh fund as the calculation is based on Total Deposit - Total Withdrawal (S$15,000 - S$5,000 = S$10,000) since the event has already begun on the 5/8/2024 at 10:00PM SGT.

 

Reward Description

1. Get up to 6.8%p.a. [1] for 30 days with Moomoo Cash Plus:

Moomoo SG will reimburse a 1.68%p.a. interest booster on top of your usual Cash Plus yield within 7 working days after the end of your 60-day holding period. Cash Plus yield varies daily depending on the fund you have subscribed to.

Example: On 5/8/2024, Fullerton SGD Cash Fund is at 3.5%p.a.. The total interest you will get for the day will be 3.5%p.a. + 1.68%p.a. = 5.18%p.a..

You may purchase either USD Cash Plus or SGD Cash Plus, but the offer is only applicable to the first Cash Plus fund subscribed into after you have attained the respective fresh funds deposit requirements.

Cash rewards will be given in SGD regardless of the underlying fund chosen. For users who have invested into CSOP USD Cash Fund, the SGD equivalent currency cash rewards credited will be based on exchange rate of 1.34 (as of 16/7/2024).

2. Stock Cash Coupon:

Stock cash coupons are issued in denomination of S$10 within 7 working days after the end of your 60-day holding period and may be used across US, HK & SG markets, with no currency restrictions. The minimum buy-trade amount is S$100 per S$10 stock cash coupon.

 

FAQs

1. How to qualify for the rewards?

After entering the event page, users must select on a membership tier and click on the "Register Now" button to sign up. Upon successful registration, users have 5 days to deposit fresh funds. After the 5-day deposit period ends, users are required to maintain a minimum daily net deposit for the next 60 days based on the membership tier they have selected. Based on the net deposit levels maintained over the 60 days, users will receive the corresponding rewards.

Should the total net deposit based on the membership tier not been met, the task will be considered as failed and will not qualify for the rewards.

 Moomoo SG offers up to 6.8%p.a. [1] for 30 days with Moomoo Cash Plus on the first Cash Plus fund subscribed when existing users visit the landing page and click on the "Deposit Now" button. The maximum subscription amount differs with every tier of rewards unlocked. 1.68%p.a. interest booster will be reimbursed on top of your usual Cash Plus yield. Cash Plus yield varies daily depending on the fund you have subscribed to.

 

For example:

  • Deposit fresh funds of minimum S$10,000, to enjoy up to 6.8%p.a. on their first S$20,000 subscription into any fund under Moomoo Cash Plus for a period of 30-days.

  • Deposit fresh funds of minimum S$50,000, to enjoy up to 6.8%p.a. on their first S$80,000 subscription into any fund under Moomoo Cash Plus for a period of 30-days.

  • Deposit fresh funds of minimum S$100,000, to enjoy up to 6.8%p.a. on their first S$120,000 subscription into any fund under Moomoo Cash Plus for a period of 30-days.

2. If I withdraw funds before clicking on "Register Now" after the event begins, and deposit the withdrawn funds again after clicking on "Register Now", will the withdrawn funds be counted as fresh funds?

No, any withdrawn funds after the event commences on 5/8/24 at 10:00PM SGT will be considered as total withdrawal even if you have yet to click on the "Register Now" button.

Eg. Your current total asset is S$10,000 on 5/8/2024 at 11:00PM and you withdraw S$10,000 before clicking on the "Register Now" button on the event page. Thereafter, you click on the "Register Now" button to participate in the event and deposit S$10,000. The S$10,000 deposit will not be considered as fresh fund as the calculation is based on Total Deposit - Total Withdrawal (S$10,000 - S$10,000 = S$0).

 

3. Can I participate on the last day (5/9/2024) of the event at 9:00PM SGT?

Yes, you may still participate in this event so long you have clicked on the "Register Now" button before the end of the event period (5/9/2024 at 9:59PM SGT) and you will have until 10/9/2024 9:00PM SGT to deposit the minimum fresh funds required.

 

4. When does the 5-day deposit period begin?

Upon entering the event page and clicking on the "Register Now" button, the 5-day deposit countdown will begin immediately. For example, if a user registers on 5/8/2024 at 11:00PM SGT, the 5-day deposit period will commence from 5/8/2024 at 11:00PM SGT to 10/8/2024 at 10:59PM SGT.

 

5. Can I deposit additional funds after the 5-day deposit period to unlock higher rewards/ membership tier? 

No, if you continue to deposit more funds during the 60-day net deposit holding period after the 5-day deposit period ends, you will not be able to unlock a higher reward level or upgrade to a higher membership tier as the reward value is calculated based on the initial membership tier you have selected. However, there are no restrictions if you wish to continue depositing additional funds.

 

6. Can I withdraw my funds during the 5-day deposit period?

Yes, the net deposit for the 5-day period is calculated based on total deposit minus total withdrawal. However, do pay attention to your withdrawal as it may reduce the fresh fund deposit during this period. If you fail to meet the minimum fresh funds requirement, you will not unlock task 1 and 2.

 

7. Can I withdraw funds during the 60-day holding period?

Yes, the daily net deposit for the 60-day holding period is calculated after the end of the 5-day deposit period from the day 1 to day 60. However, do pay extra attention to your withdrawal as it may reduce the net deposit during this period, which may lead to a lower reward value or not being able to qualify for any reward at the end of the 60-day holding period. For example: You have selected the "Elite" membership tier.

Day 1 (5/8/2024) of the 60-day holding period - Your net Deposit is S$10,000.

Day 5 (9/8/2024) of the 60-day holding period - You withdraw S$2,000 from your universal account and your remaining net deposit is S$8,000.

A push notification will be sent to you and you are required to deposit immediately to ensure you meet the minimum net deposit requirement of S$10,000.

 

8. How is the reward amount determined after I have completed my participation in the event?

The final reward amount you can receive will be determined based on the net deposit requirement you meet during the 60-day net deposit maintenance period. If the minimum net deposit within the 60-day net deposit maintenance period is not met, you will not qualify for the reward.

For example: Your final net deposit during the 5-day deposit period is S$10,000, but within the 60-day net deposit maintenance period your net deposit is S5,000, then the overall will be considered as S$5,000 and you will not qualify for the rewards even if you have subscribe to Cash Plus or perform a non-Cash Plus buy trade.

Please note that if the minimum net deposit on any day during the 60-day net deposit maintenance period is less than the required, you will not be eligible for any rewards.

 

9. When will the rewards be distributed?

Within 7 working days after the end of the 60 day holding period, the corresponding amount of stock cash coupon and cash coupon (Max interest booster of 1.68%p.a.) will be issued.

 

10. What are the requirements to use the stock cash coupons received from this event?

The stock cash coupons issued in this promotion are applicable to the US, HK & SG stock markets. They can be used for various types of securities, including regular stocks, ETFs, and REITs in these markets. The minimum buy-trade amount per stock cash coupon is S$100 and is valid for 60 days after issuance.

 

11. What types of deposits are considered valid?

Deposits in SGD, USD, and HKD are all valid deposit currencies. The corresponding exchange rates are:

HKD:SGD = 1:0.17

USD:SGD = 1:1.34

Users can refer to the net deposit amount displayed on the event page.

 

12. After registering and making a deposit, can I use my net assets for trading? And if I incur losses from trading, will it affect the calculation of my net deposit?

The deposited fresh funds after registration may be used for any sort of trading (buying stocks). And if there are losses or gains from your trading during the 60-day holding period, it will not affect the calculation of your net deposit.

 

13. I have deposited fresh funds before clicking on the "Register Now" button. Will my deposit still be taken into account as fresh funds and total net deposit?

Funds deposited on 5/8/2024 before 10:00pm SGT which is before the start of the event will not be considered as fresh funds and attributed to the net deposit.

Funds deposited between 5/8/2024 at 10:00pm SGT to 5/9/2024 at 9:59pm SGT will be considered as fresh funds and net deposits.

If you wish to use your net deposit to buy stocks or other products, you may proceed to do so as fluctuation in stocks will not affect your total net deposit.

For example:

If you click on "Register Now" on 10/8/2024 at 10:00pm SGT, and the 5-day deposit period ends on 15/8/2024 at 9:59pm SGT, the net deposits will be calculated from 5/8/2024 at 10:00pm SGT (beginning of event period) to 15/8/2024 at 9:59pm.

Any deposits or withdrawals before 5/8/2024 at 10:00pm SGT will not be taken into account.

 

14. When does the 30-day period of up to 6.8%p.a. in Cash Plus begins?

The 30-day period will begin upon your first subscription into USD/ SGD Cash Plus which takes 1-2 working days to confirm after your subscription has been confirmed. For example, if you subscribed S$10,000 to Cash Plus on 5/8/2024 and your confirmation of your subscription is on 6/8/2024, your last day will be 4/9/2024. And, if you top up another S$10,000 (total S$20,000) to Cash Plus on the 10/8/2024, the 30-day period will not restart and end on 4/9/2024.

 

15. I have already subscribed to a Cash Plus fund. Is the existing subscription eligible for up to 6.8%p.a. for 30-day ?

Yes, your current Cash Plus fund subscription may enjoy up to 6.8%p.a for 30-day.

For example: If you are currently subscribed to S$10,000 in Fullerton SGD Cash Fund, and then subscribe another fresh fund of S$10,000 into the same Fullerton SGD Cash Fund, the total amount of S$20,000 (maximum subscription for Elite tier) is entitled to enjoy up to 6.8%p.a. for up to 30-day. However, do ensure that you meet the minimum fresh fund deposit requirement, otherwise up to 6.8%p.a. for 30-day will not be activated.

 

16. If I subscribe a cumulative of S$80,000 in Cash Plus at different times within 30 days, how much is eligible for up to 6.8% p.a.?

The final return will be calculated according to your first Cash Plus subscription based on the 30-day enjoyment period and the membership tier you have selected.

For example: Assuming you have deposited and subscribed S$50,000 on 5/8/2024 and you make another S$30,000 deposit and subscription into the same cash plus fund on 8/8/2024 and hold it till the end of the enjoyment period. You will enjoy up to 6.8%p.a. return on your first S$50,000 subscription during the first 3 days and subsquently S$80,000 for the remaining 27 days during the 30-day enjoyment period.

 

17. If I do not subscribe into Moomoo Cash Plus immediately, will I still be eligible for up to 6.8%p.a. later?

Eligibility will be maintained only during the event period (5/8/2024 at 10:00pm SGT to 5/9/2024 at 10:00pm SGT) and up to 6.8%p.a for 30-day enjoyment period will be activated upon your first subscription. Subscription outside of the event period will only grant current yield rates under your choice of money market fund (Fullerton SGD Cash Fund, Fullertson SGD Liquidity Fund or CSOP USD Money Market Fund).

 

18. How do you calculate the 30-day period of up to 6.8%p.a. in Cash Plus? If I deposit on the last day of the promo, will I still be eligible?

After completing and meeting the requirement of the fresh fund deposit, you will qualify for up to 6.8%p.a.. With your first subscription in Cash Plus, the 30-day enjoyment period will be activated.

First subscription has to be completed/activated before the event ends on 10/9/2024 at 9:59PM SGT.

 

19. How is up to 6.8%p.a. in Cash Plus calculated?

Moomoo SG will reimburse a 1.68% interest booster on top of your usual Cash Plus yield. Cash Plus yield varies daily depending on the fund you have subscribed to.

Example: On 5/8/2024, Fullerton SGD Cash Fund is at 3.5%. The total interest you will get for the day will be 3.5% + 1.68% = 5.18%.

 

20. Do I need to complete the subscription on the event page?

No, you do not need to complete the subscription on the event page. Once you have registered and completed the deposit tasks, you can purchase Cash Plus through [Funds] > [Cash Plus] on your app.

 

21. Can I withdraw my money at any time?

You may redeem/withdraw your investment in the fund at any time, but the 30-day enjoyment period for Cash Plus will not be paused once you have subscribed to your first Cash Plus fund. The countdown timer will begin once it is activated. Making your first subscription after completing the deposit tasks activates the 30-day enjoyment period. No lock-ins, you may still continue to redeem or increase your position at any time during this period.

However, if you withdraw funds from the account, causing the total net deposit to fall below the minimum net deposit, you will no longer be eligible for the reward.

For example, if you have initially deposited a fresh fund of S$10,000, subscribed to Cash Plus and performed 1 non-Cash Plus buy trade, you are eligible to enjoy up to 6.8%p.a. for 30 days and S$10 stock cash coupon. However, during the holding period if you withdraw S$8,000 from your account (resulting to a net deposit of S$2,000), you will not qualify for either of the rewards.

 

22. Can I resubscribe after full redemption in the Cash Plus fund?

As long as you are still within/have yet to activate the 30-day enjoyment period, you may resubscribe again and continue to enjoy up to 6.8%p.a. in Cash Plus.

 

23. What happens when up to 6.8%p.a. for 30-day period ends?

You will still enjoy the base returns of the fund itself or may choose to invest in other products.

 

24. What happens if the selected fund of Moomoo Cash Plus has generated negative returns?

During times of negative returns for 7 consecutive days, the fund will be automatically liquidated. However, Moomoo SG will continue to give you a 1.68% interest booster for the 30-day period.

 

25. Which Cash Plus funds is eligible for the up to 6.8%p.a. for 30-day rewards?

Applicable to all money market fund under Moomoo Cash Plus: CSOP USD Money Market Fund, Fullerton SGD Cash Fund and Fullerton SGD Liquidity Fund.

 

26. How will the rewards be issued?

The rewards will be issued within 7 working days after the 60-day asset maintenance period ends. Please note that the rewards for the 2 tasks will be issued according to your respective completion status.

For example:

  • If you complete both Task 1 and Task 2 (see above table for Reward Details), the rewards for both tasks will be issued.

  • If you complete Task 1 instead of Task 2 (see above table for Reward Details is incompleted, only the reward for Task 1 will be issued.

  • If you complete Task 2 instead of Task 1 (see above table for Reward Details is incompleted, only the reward for Task 2 will be issued.

  • If neither of the 2 tasks is completed, you will not receive either of the rewards.

27. Can I complete the 2 tasks during the 5-day deposit period?

No, the task can only be completed after the 5-day deposit period has end. However, do note that the 2 tasks are required to be completed within the 60-day net asset maintenance period.

28. I have initiated a Cash Plus subscription. Why has the 30-day countdown not begun on the event landing page?

It takes a few working days for the fund subscription to be confirmed. Usually, it can be confirmed on the same day, but for certain funds, it may take 1-2 working days. We will start the 30-day earnings countdown after the fund you subscribed to has been successfully confirmed.

  11. This Event/Promotion is not eligible to users whose names are on the "Moomoo SG Event Participation Ban List". If a user repeatedly violates safety rules of Moomoo SG, their name will be added to the "Moomoo SG Event Participation Ban List".

  12. Where forced liquidation occurs during the event period, subsequent fund yield movements will no longer be monitored by Moomoo SG. Moomoo SG will not automatically initiate any forms of re-subscription after the force liquidation, and you will not be able to re-invest into the underlying fund during the negative 7-day annualized yield period. Should you wish to re-invest into the same fund when it reaches back to a positive 7-day annualized yield, you shall monitor the market conditions on your own. Should another negative 7-day annualized yield occur during the reinvested period, the same forced liquidation will happen. Moomoo SG will continue to provide the 1.68%p.a. interest booster as long as the user holds a position in the Moomoo Cash Plus during the eligible period.

  13. Final subscription activation ends on 5/9/2024, at 9:59PM SGT. Any subscription to the return rewards under this Event/Promotion after the stipulated date will no longer be eligible to participate in the Event/Promotion.
