Unsuccessful Transfer from a Third-Party Bank Account

Moomoo SG only accepts fund transfers from bank accounts in your name and does not accept transfers from third-party accounts. If you attempt to transfer funds from someone else's account, it will not be successful. In such cases, please take one of the following steps:

1.  Request a refund to the payer's bank account

2.  Deposit the funds into the payer's Moomoo SG universal account

Additional instructions for each of the steps above are listed below.

 

1. Request a refund to the payer's bank account

To request a refund, follow the steps below.

1. Access the beneficiary details page by going to:

   Trade > Accounts > Transfers > Deposit Bank Transfer

2. Tap drop us a message at the bottom of the page

3. Tap Someone else's bank account

4. Tap Return to the payer's bank account

5. Enter the transfer details and upload proof of payment, tap Next

6. Enter the payer's bank account details, upload proof of bank account

7. Tap Submit

Processing time: Your refund will be completed within 30 days after receiving your funds.

 

2. Deposit the funds to the payer's Moomoo SG universal account

If the payer has an account with Moomoo SG, you can choose to deposit the funds into the payer's Moomoo SG universal account by following the steps below.

1. Access the beneficiary details page by going to:

  Trade > Accounts > Transfers > Deposit Bank Transfer

2. Tap drop us a message at the bottom of the page

3. Tap Someone else's bank account

4. Tap Deposit to the payer's moomoo account

5. Enter the transfer details and upload proof of payment

6.  Enter the moomoo ID of the payer's Moomoo SG universal account

7. Tap Submit

Processing time: Your funds will be deposited into the specified Moomoo SG universal account within 1-2 business days after verification.
