Fees for the Robo-Advisor Service

1. Trading Fees for Robo-Advisor ETF Portfolio Orders

Stock/ETF portfolio orders refer to orders that trade multiple stocks and/or ETFs per order, while single-stock orders refer to orders that only trade one stock/ETF per order. Both order types defined here may be traded in odd lots, whole lots, and/or fractional shares.

The commission and platform fee for stock/ETF portfolio orders are different from those for single-stock orders, while the other trading fees (including fees charged by third parties such as settlement agencies and service charges for handling corporate actions) are the same.

The fees below only apply to orders in the US stock market. All amounts are in US dollars.

2.2 About the advisory fee

  1. Calculation method: The advisory fee for each Robo-Advisor ETF Portfolio held is calculated by multiplying the latest fee rate applicable by the portfolio's end-of-day market value.

  2. Fee accrual: The advisory fee is incurred each calendar day (Suppose there are 365 calendar days every year) during the time a Robo-Advisor ETF Portfolio is held. When you close all positions in the portfolio, the fee ceases to accrue upon settlement of the sell-all order.

  3. Billing cycle: The advisory fee is charged automatically every month on a portfolio basis. Incurred yet unpaid advisory fees for portfolios currently held or already sold will be accumulated and charged automatically on the next billing date.

  4. Paying account: The advisory fee is debited from your universal account holding the portfolio(s).

  5. The advisory fee mentioned above may change over time, and prior notifications will be sent as soon as reasonably practicable.

  6. All fees paid are not refundable.

  7. With effect from January 1, 2024, the Singapore government levies a 9% Goods and Services Tax (GST) on the above fees.

  8. Definitions

  • Market value: The number of settled shares (including fractional and/or odd-lot shares) times the closing price during the regular trading hours (RTH) of US stocks, excluding cash dividends and any other cash generated by previous or current positions in the portfolios. Pre-market and after-hours price fluctuations are not used for calculation. Please note that the actual value of fractional and odd-lot shares may differ from their official RTH closing price due to higher liquidity risks. Please note that due to corporate actions such as dividend issuance, the RTH official close price may be adjusted and updated after that trading day. The end-of-day ETF portfolio market value used to calculate advisory fees will NOT take such later adjustments into account after the advisory fees have incurred for that day.

  • End-of-day market value: The number of settled shares times the official RTH closing price. Here, "end-of-day" refers to the end of RTH on each calendar day where the number of settled shares is updated. For example, for US stocks, the normal RTH end at around 16:30 EST.

  • Robo-Advisor ETF Portfolio(s) held: The ETF portfolio(s) that have been settled by the cut-off time specified in each market.
