Hong Kong Central Gas Co., Ltd. (Towngas) was founded in 1862 and was the first utility company in Hong Kong, China. Today, we are one of the largest energy suppliers in Hong Kong, with world-class corporate management and leading business practices. Over the past few years, Towngas has grown together with Hong Kong, growing from a simple gas company that supplies fuel for street lights to a leading position in the energy industry in mainland China and elsewhere. The main reason for our success is the reputation we have built over the years, which has enabled us to win the trust of Hong Kong people. We supply gas to over 10,000 Hong Kong customers and provide a full range of gas applications to meet their needs. In recent years, we have continuously expanded our business horizons and diversified our business to include telecommunications, construction services, engineering and new energy. Towngas entered mainland China in '9. Currently, we have more than 550 projects in 1994 provincial regions, including smart energy and pipeline urban gas projects, upstream and midstream development, water supply and municipal waste utilization projects, natural gas filling stations, and new energy exploration and utilization enterprises.
